Problem
Did you happen to come across an error after uploading your month's worth of transactions?
Solution
1) If you managed to identify a selected few transactions that had mistakes, it would be less time consuming by choosing to edit those transactions.
Steps:
To edit uploaded transactions:
- Through the left-hand menu, go to Account Admin > Transactions. Filter for your account and hit "Apply filters".
- Select the appropriate transactions by checking their boxes on the left. Once done, hit "Edit Selected".
- You will see a confirmation pop-out window. The Count refers to the number of transactions selected. Click on 'OK' to proceed.
- You will be brought over to a new tab to the Normalization page, where you will be able to make your amendments. Do not forget to "save edit to server" and "Upload" once the changes have been made.
2) If you find that there's too many mistakes however, then deleting the month's worth of transactions first, and re-uploading the whole statement would be more ideal.
Steps:
To delete transactions:
- Through the left-hand menu, go to Account Admin > Transactions. Filter for your account and hit "Apply filters".
- Select the month's worth of transactions by taking note of the dates and checking their boxes on the left. Once done, hit "Delete Selected".
- You will see a confirmation pop-out window. The Count refers to the number of transactions selected. Click on 'OK' to proceed.
- Refresh the page and "Apply Filters" once more to make sure that the transactions have been deleted. You may continue to re-upload the month's worth of transactions once more.
It is up to your discretion which method you choose. What matters more would be the accuracy of those transactions.
