Introduction

How similar does your portfolio look against your Canopy peers when compared using geographical concentrations of your investments?

This dashboard shows the top 3 geographical concentrations of your investments versus your Canopy peers. Salient features are:

  • Your Asset Allocation by Geography Concentration Table: This is the upper table and shows the top 3 geographical your own asset allocation on the left while your Canopy peers on the right. Unless otherwise specified this is for the most recent business date.
    • Geographical Location: This is taken from the Bloomberg website and incorporated into Canopy (and takes into account any overrides done by the customer). We have merged Global and Multi-National categories. 
  • Geographical Distribution over time Chart: This is a chart very similar to the above, with two important differences
    • Includes assets in all the geographical areas in absolute market value. 
    • Ignores asset allocation: This chart only shows the relative amounts invested in each geography (without showing the asset allocation in each geography)

Note: Assets for whom the geography does not matter (e.g. Cash, Deposits and Loans) or the information is not available with Canopy are excluded from this analysis.
