Introduction

Recent volatility in Chinese and US markets show how important it is to be on top of your portfolio and understand exposure.

Canopy clients have a full view of their investments and are able to understand exposure to Chinese and US markets across all banks.


Geographical Asset Allocation Peer Comparison Dashboard, shows the geographical asset allocation of a customer and compares it to overall geographical allocation of the peer group.

Salient features are:

  • Your Asset Allocation by Geography Chart: 
    • Size of each bubble: is proportional to the relative investment in that geography
    • Geographical Location: This is taken from the Canopy website (and takes into account any overrides done by the customer).
    • Asset Allocation: Each bubble is by itself an asset allocation chart. The asset class definitions are as per Canopy website and take into account any overrides done by the customer)
  • Peer Group Chart: This is a chart very similar to the above, with two important differences
    • Includes assets of your peer group: Your own assets are also part of it, but since the peer group is usually substantial your own assets typically will not have a measurable influence on this chart

PS: The asset classes in the insights email dashboard is classified as the seven broad categories so as to have a clear comparison with the Canopy peers. The detailed report includes the client's asset class to match the Visualizer. 

We have also included a chart to show the percentage change in the market value or net worth as of since September 2018, keeping up with the recent news or global events.
