Introduction

The top shows the Cashflows of your client's CS account only while the bottom is of 3rd party bank statements.

The salient features are:

  • Bar Charts: These show the cashflows during a particular period (typically a week or a month depending on the scale). These cashflows are of the following sub-categories
    • Dividend: Typically earned on equity investments
    • Coupon: Typically earned on fixed income investments
    • Interest Income: Typically deposit interest
    • Income Earned:
    • Expense Incurred:
    • Distribution: This is a generic term and includes all coupons, dividends and private equity payoffs etc.
    • Loan Cost: Interest paid on loans taken in this account

For the avoidance of doubt, this chart does not contain realized trading gains (i.e. gains made from trading positions that were closed out). Also any accrued but unpaid amounts (e.g. interest on deposits/loans/bonds that has not yet been paid in cash) are not part of this calculation.
