Geographical Asset Allocation Peer Comparison Dashboard
Geographical Asset Allocation Peer Comparison Dashboard
Introduction
Geographical Asset Allocation Peer Comparison Dashboard, shows the geographical asset allocation of a customer and compares it to overall geographical allocation of the peer group. Salient features are:
- Your Asset Allocation by Geography Chart: This is the upper chart and shows your own asset allocation. Unless otherwise specified this is for the most recent business date.
- Size of each bubble: is proportional to the relative investment in that geography
- Geographical Location: This is taken from the Canopy website (and takes into account any overrides done by the customer).
- Asset Allocation: Each bubble is by itself an asset allocation chart. The asset class definitions are as per Canopy website and take into account any overrides done by the customer)
- Peer Group Chart: This is a chart very similar to the above, with two important differences
- Includes assets of your peer group: Your own assets are also part of it, but since the peer group is usually substantial your own assets typically will not have a measurable influence on this chart
- Ignores asset allocation: This chart only shows the relative amounts invested in each geography (without showing the asset allocation in each geography)
PS: Assets for whom the geography does not matter (e.g. Cash, Deposits and Loans) or the information is not available with Canopy is excluded from this analysis.
